    Hi Nadine,

In chapter 15, line 6 , there is ” بدنا ياه ” . Could you please let me know what  “ياه ” means.  شكرا !

Also, in line 4 ,   “بآخرالأسبوع ” does this literally mean the weekend or does it mean the final week  ?

    ! شكرا  x 2 Grinning

line 4  : بآخرالأسبوع  means “at the end of the week” or in other words, as written in the book, “on the weekend”

    line 6:
كل شي بدنا ياه   everything that we want
كل شي بدنا     everything we want

Notice the difference between the two sentences with ياه and without

ياه  refers back to something that has already been mentioned.

How do you pronounce ياه? Is it yah or eh or something else?

It is pronounced like the word “yea” in English /jeɪ/

    شكرا

I like trying to read Arabic script, however one problem with that is it can be hard to know exactly how to pronounce a lot of words when you’re not familiar with how they sound…
