    Hello together,

I am working with the book “Kalaam Kull Yoom” to build new vocabulary. Unfortunately there is no information which coniugation table I have to use for the verbs, and not all verbs are included in the book “Egyptian Colloquial Arabic Verbs”. So – at the moment – I’d like to know the coniugation tables for the verbs قشر (to peel) and دبل (to wilt) (Chapter 1 – At the greengrocer’s, Kalaam Kull Yoom 2). Can anybody help? Thanks a lot 🙂

    Hi Cornelia,

to wilt is دِبِل – يِدْبَل (fatha in imperfect, table 1s4)

And a hack for قَشَّر: Notice the shadda, which means it’s a measure-2 verb and is completely predictable. It doesn’t change voweling, so it’s يِقَشَّر (table 2s2)
