negating الشرط in a conditional sentence

I have a question about negating الشرط in a conditional sentence. If we want to negate فعل الشرط, we use لم and فعل مضارع مجزوم. For example:

إذا لم تمامع أردت أن أؤجل الاجتماع

“If you don’t mind, I want to postpone the meeting”

And

لو لم تكذب لما حدث هذا

“If you hadn’t lied, this wouldn’t have happened.”

Is this correct?

The second example is correct.

But لم is used to deny the past (Exactly like in the second sentence). So it will be correct if you rather say: إذا لا تمانع، أُريدُ انه أؤجل الاجتماع

You should use لا here instead of لم because you are negating a present-tense verb.
