Dubai is a beautiful city. A lot of my friends who live in America ask me about life in Dubai, and whenever I explain to them about life here, they immediately tell me that they feel like Dubai is full of adventures and fun. Dubai is a diverse city. Whatever comes to mind–from places and restaurants–you can find them here. The streets of Dubai will help someone understand the meaning of advancement. Ten years ago, Dubai was very different than the Dubai we know today. Half of the buildings and places that you see in newspapers and on tourism websites weren’t there a couple of years ago. Today Dubai is a different world, full of malls, restaurants, and towers. What’s nice about Dubai is that it’s not only a place for fun–in fact, there are a lot of worldwide companies like Bloomberg that have offices here in Dubai, and a lot of universities, like the American University of Dubai, attract students from around the world. One of the biggest hospitals in the world, Rashid Hospital, is located in Dubai. There’s a really nice fact that will show you that behind everything in Dubai there is meaning. When they built the tallest tower in the world, they called it Burj Khalifa, after the President of the UAE, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nayhan. You can find more than 100 nationalities in Dubai. People from around the world are gathered in Dubai and live in harmony, even with the differences in civilizations and cultures. And in my opinion, this is the best thing about Dubai–that it is able to unite people from around the world who don’t even know each other and provide them with an atmosphere that motivates respect for one another, as well as getting to learn about different cultures from all around the world. On various occasions, I have met people whose countries I’d never heard of, and thanks to the diversity in Dubai, I learned a lot about different civilizations and traditions that seemed odd to me. Dubai gave me the opportunity to learn at all times, and it opened the door for me to meet people I consider special to me today. When you visit Dubai you’ll understand what I mean. You’re going to say that it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world.
