I am thrilled to announce the launch of our new eBook series: Media Arabic Vocabulary. This series is a testament to our commitment to providing innovative and dynamic language learning resources.

Our Media Arabic Vocabulary series is designed specifically for intermediate learners of Arabic who are interested in reading Arabic news but find it a bit daunting. We understand the complexities of real-world Arabic media literacy and have created this series to bridge this gap. Our aim is to make Arabic media literacy accessible and engaging, helping you to navigate the intricacies of Arabic news with ease and confidence.

Each volume in the series is organized into thematic units, covering a range of topics. The first two volumes cover topics such as Politics, Crime, Art, Economics, Science, and Sports. Within each unit, you’ll find sections of key vocabulary, each accompanied by an example sentence. At the end of each section, you’ll have the opportunity to practice your reading skills with real-world texts such as short articles, interviews, and reports.

We’re planning for the series to include four volumes in total. And if there is enough interest in Media Arabic materials, we may expand the series with additional practice materials, such as an annual “Year in Review” book of articles on real-world events. We’re excited about this potential expansion and would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Additional features of the Media Arabic Vocabulary series include:

  • Diacritics (Tashkeel) for word recognition and correct pronunciation.
  • English translations for all Arabic content.
  • Over 7 hours of audio to improve your pronunciation and listening comprehension.
  • An interactive learning approach that promotes self-discovery.
  • A flexible structure that allows you to chart your own learning path.

Whether you’re an intermediate learner or an advanced student, the Media Arabic Vocabulary series is a versatile, flexible tool for deepening your understanding of Arabic as it’s used in the real world.

  2. A really useful product. If only these books had been available 40 odd years ago when I first started learning Arabic and the audio ensures a learner can achieve accurate pronunciation. I particularly like teh Arts section. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

  3. Sounds like this is going to be excellent resource for students of Arabic wanting understand the news. I’ve been trying for years and have used less useful resources in the past. I’m hoping using Anki, audio and working through this course will improve my competency in understanding the news
