When you study from a book, your eyes must stay on the page, which limits how much time you can dedicate to language learning. The Kameen Shwayy 'An Haali Premium Audio helps you make the most of your day, even when you can’t sit down with the book. Just listen and learn as you go about your daily routine!
What is Premium Audio?
Unlike the free MP3 tracks that accompany the book Kameen Shwayy 'An Haali—which include only the Arabic audio—the Premium Audio also features English translations. The recordings are divided into individual MP3 tracks for each question or response, making it easy to replay or focus on specific parts of the material.
Each track presents a question or response from the book as follows:
- Chime: A gentle chime marks the beginning of each track, followed by a 1-second pause.
- Arabic (normal speed): The question or response is spoken naturally, followed by a 2-second pause for you to think about the meaning.
- English translation: The meaning of the line, followed by another 2-second pause to process it.
- Arabic (slow speed): The line is repeated slowly (20–30% slower) to help you hear every detail, followed by a longer pause for you to repeat it aloud.
- Arabic (normal speed again): The original line repeated to check your improved comprehension.
How to Use the Kameen Shwayy 'An Haali Premium Audio
The Premium Audio is best used as a companion to the Kameen Shwayy 'An Haali book. Ideally, you’ll also have the PDF eBook or paperback edition so that you can pre-study the material before reviewing it with the audio. The Premium Audio is designed to let you multitask and study on the go.
All MP3 files share the same metadata tags: album [Kameen Shwayy 'An Haali (Premium Audio)], artist [Lingualism], and genre [Study Arabic].
If you’re familiar with the book, you know that each segment begins with a question, followed by the responses of ten native speakers. The tracks are labeled numerically: the first number indicates the segment, and then 00 for the question or 01–10 for the ten speakers’ responses (01 is Hoda, for example). The order follows the book exactly. The first track is named:

The English translation of each question is included in the track name so you can easily follow the context even when listening in shuffle mode or out of sequence.

An incredible price, a highly unique resource. The media on this website has been indispensable in my Arabic journey.
This is great! I bought the PDF version a few month ago, but I wasn't reading it often enough due to lack of non-commute time; The audio quality is ok (Again, I had to normalize the Recorded-Arabic vs Synthesized-English prompts using the FFmpeg utility, command below), I found out that I actually like the English being synthesized-speech, it gives it a distanced 'subtitle-like' feel, while I can really relate to the Arabic speakers and their intonation.
I found that when I listen, I get curious enough, which gives me motivation to go back to the PDF, for getting the final touches, and repeat their sentences, being already familiar with everything from my commute to work (cycling + listening)

Bring the audio tracks to
"equal-RMS" (maybe this could be a step in the post production as well for everyone's benefit):
